Power Purchase Agreement
SunLease is a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Now solar is not only the privilege to these large business! PPA is also available for our residential customers. It is completely no risk for home owners - There is no fix monthly payment, you just pay for the electricity you use as you pay your utility company today - with a guarantee lower price.
Free Maintenance and Monitoring Service
With SunLease, we install and maintain the equipment on your home or business, so you don’t have to worry about ongoing maintenance costs. We own the equipment and therefore we are responsible for repairs, such as inverter replacement.
SunLease include online monitoring for the full life of the term. Online monitoring allows you and us to continuously monitor your system to ensure it is running smoothly and performing as expected.
Solar panels typically last up to 30 years or longer, and have few moving parts. So once systems are installed, they require little ongoing maintenance.
Flexibility is the Key
SunLease is a very flexible way to go solar. We will size your solar system according to your family's needs. Your payment will remain level and consistent throughout each year of the agreement - you just pay for the kWh (kilo-watts hour) you consume every month.
When your SunLease term ends, you have several good options including:
- Upgrading to the latest solar technology under a new PurePower agreement.
- You also have the option (but no obligation) to purchase the system at the end of the term for fair market value.
- Remove the system with no additional cost.
If you sell your home before the end of the agreement, you can transfer the SunLease service to the new owners, or you can purchase the system and add it to your home asking price. A solar system will help differentiate your home from other properties on the market—new buyers are looking for green homes that are energy efficient and will help them save money on energy costs.
