Solar Electricity Systems

Solar Electricity system generates clean, sustainable, and unlimited power from the Sun – our ultimate power resource. Every hour the Sun delivers enough energy to power up the entire planet for one whole year. Put another way, every 2.6 days the Sun delivers energy equivalent to the world’s entire reserves of oil, coal and gas. A 100m2 roof receives around 100 barrels of oil of solar energy annually: 10,000USD worth. With photovoltaic technology, 15% - 22% of this energy can be converted directly into electricity. Most of the U.S. households receive 100% electricity from the utility grid. In U.S., over 70% of all electricity is generated from environmental polluted sources such as coal, gas, nuclear, and oil (see the graph below).

Global Demand & Depleting Resources

Growing global demand and depleting reserves means increasing price for traditional natural resources. The graph below shows the historical retail price of three major resources: Natural Gas, Coal, and Oil. The prices for all three resources have nearly doubled since 2004.

U.S. Oil Reserves

According to BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2003, (Click here to see the full report), If we keep extracting fossil oil with the current phase, U.S. will have only 11 years left to deplete all the oil reserves in the country. In another words, after 11 years, we will have to depend on foreign oil to run our cars, trains, airplanes, and many other things.

U.S. Oil Consumption

U.S. has about 6% of the world population, but BP S Statistical Review of World Energy 2009 shows that we consume 22.5% of the world fossil oil. (Click here to see the detail data).

Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) study shows:

“America spends more than $200,000 per minute on foreign oil -- $13 million per hour. More than $25 billion a year goes for Persian Gulf imports alone.”

This is the largest wealth transfer in the history of mankind.

The dependence on foreign oil is a threat to our national security and our economy. Growing demand and shrinking domestic production makes us keep importing more and more oil each year – much of it from the most unfriendly or unstable regions. This is a fault investment for our country and our future generations.

We should start conserving, and we should start now. Click here to reserve your free energy conservation consultation and start enjoying the clean sun power today
